Our Inspiration
I-AM-HAITI.ORG’s creation was inspired by the catastrophic events that devastated Haiti on January 12, 2010. The website was developed as a way to generate revenue that could be donated directly to the relief efforts in Haiti, through the sale of merchandise i.e. t-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, coffee mugs, etc. I-AM-HAITI began as a song written by Endyo Records’ recording artist El Feco, from Jamaica, who felt a calling to somehow in his power help the people of Haiti. Through collaborative efforts, El Feco and Endyo Records have been able to turn this powerful song into a movement. Hollie Stain, artist developer and friend to Endyo Records, inspired the idea of the t-shirts as an additional way to help promote the song and raise funds. The shirts and website were designed by Roscoe Murphy, co-owner of Endyo Records. We are committed to raising as much funds possible to directly benefit the people Haiti. Endyo Records would like to thank all of the artists, musicians, engineers, and everyone else involved in bringing I-AM-HAITI to life.
