WBC welterweight (147 pounds) champion, Andre Berto, (25-0, 19 knockouts) of Winter Haven, Fla., will defend his crown against southpaw, former world champion, Carlos Quintana (27-2, 21 KOs), of Puerto Rico, on April 10 at the Bank of America Center in Sunrise, Fla.But FanHouse caught up to the 26-year-old, Haitian-American, who has been asissting with disaster relief since that island nation was rocked by an earthquake.
And Berto (pictured above at right) offered his thoughts on the May 1 clash between WBA welterweight super titlist, Shane Mosley (46-5, 39 KOs), and, Floyd Mayweather (40-0, 25 KOs), as did others such as Victor Ortiz, Luis Ramos Jr. and Carlos Molina.
