We got a call at 8 A.M in the morning this past Saturday and it was HMI legend SHOUBOU on the other line. SHOUBOU who had to catch a flight to go overseas 2 hours later, simply gave me a call (While we were in Miami) after he had seen/watched the RICHARD CAVE VIDEO INTERVIEW on our YOUTUBE CHANNEL, and that simply moved him to make the call.
SHOUBOU told me that I can say “OFFICIALLY, TABOU COMBO has passed the torch/legacy of the Haitian band in the international market to CARIMI.” SHOUBOU expressed how proud he was of those guys after the ZENITH show, and basically said that CARIMI has to carry the torch/flame of the HMI in the international market.
SHOUBOU….YOUR MESSAGE HAS BEEN DELIVERED!
