Dr. Wyclef Jean receives an Honorary Doctorate of Humanity at WCSU
NEW YORK, NY – Grammy-winning Haitian-born humanitarian and ambassador has added the new title to his resume after being recently honored by the Western Connecticut State University in Danbury.
He received the doctorate degree after delivering a commencement speech titled `Vision for the Future` to the graduating class of 2010 at the school.
Additionally, Jean received a $9,500 check for his Yéle Haiti Foundation, which became the go-to organization for donations to help victims of the earthquake that struck Haiti on January 12.
