Jacob Desvarieux of legendary Kompa band Kassav’ guest staron “Haiti Debout” (English translation “Haiti Upright”), interviewed by Guy Samuel Nyoumsi.
Desvarieux Jacob (born November 21, 1955 in Paris) is a musician, arranger and producer. He founded with Pierre-Edouard in 1979 the band Kassav ‘. He was instrumental in the development and influence of the group internationally.
In 1999, he released a solo album “Euphrasine’s Blues”. In 2003, he realized with Passi (and training Bisso Na Bisso) a song on the album “Dis L’heure 2 Zouk”.
