In the wake of the horrific tragedy in Haiti, Chicago rapper Twista is doing his part to help.

He’s recorded a song to the tune of Wyclef Jean and Mary J Blige’s song “911″. Asking that everyone donate at least $5 dollars through Wyclef’s Yele.Org Earthquake Fund.

Hot 97 Pays tribute to Haiti in support of Earthquake victims

In an unprecedented move, New York City’s the Hot 97 radio station, which usually only plays hip hop and R&B, played Haitian Compas and Zouk for an hour usually reserved for lunch-time, old school Hip-Hop. They also solicited donations for Wyclef Jean’s Yele Haiti organization which has already collected a record amount of funds via text message donations.
