The entire Haitian community including Haitian Fresh felt his apology was not sincere. Haitian Fresh who is the voice of the Haitian people felt his comment impacted and affected the whole Haitian community in a negative manner after fighting against racism, discrimination and social stigma.”

Wyclef Jean is being sued by a 1990s rap group who claims he sampled their song without permission. Blahzay Blahzay are suing the ex-Fugee for $2 million, claiming he didn’t get proper permission to use their song “Danger” on his track “Welcome to the East,” which is off the 2007 album The Carnival 2 (Memoirs of an Immigrant) available now on iTunes.
